The Proto Board is a small add-on board which fits over all the connectors of a JeeNode (except the FTDI connector).

The two “ends” of the board are slightly different to help identify the proper orientation of the board when placing it on a JeeNode.

All the pads on the board are unconnected and all the holes are plated-through so they can be used from either side of the board.

The pins of all the port headers are labeled on both sides of the board. The SPI/ISP and PWR/I2C connectors can be tied to the JeeNode if needed, via their own headers at both ends of the board.

Note that no headers are included, this is a PCB only.

As connectors you can use a Plug Headers set with 10 male and 10 female 6-pin headers, which makes it easy to connect multiple plugs and JeeNodes in a “standard” way. Or you can solder the board directly in place for more permanent use.
