    Relay Plug

    Qty

The Relay Plug is a small board containing two miniature relays for loads up to 3A @ 120V (both AC and DC).

This plug was designed to switch low-voltage lights, motors, fans, and... larger relays. It provides fully isolated contacts, i.e. there is no electrical connection between the switched connector pins and the rest of the circuit

This plug could be used to switch AC mains power up to about 250W @ 110V. You should only consider this if you know exactly what you're doing, and have taken all the necessary safety precautions. High voltages can be lethal - proceed at your own risk!

The complete kit comes with all the parts needed and the surface mount driver chips already soldered-on, including terminal blocks and a 6-pin headers for connecting to a JeeNode or other microcontroller or proto board. Our terminal blocks are more traditional one-piece terminal blocks. We'll update the photos soon.

This is JeeLabs relay board v1 and slightly different than the relay board that JeeLabs is selling currently. The redesign was necessitated by the unavailability of the miniature relays. We waited a long time to get our hands on these relays.

The PCB only option contains just the printed circuit board.
